This phase of the project covers a 4.8-kilometre stretch from the intersection of Sheikh Rashid Road and Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street to the Falcon Intersection on Al Mina Street. The new bridge is designed to ease congestion and significantly reduce travel time by 67%, cutting the journey from 12 minutes to just 4 minutes for motorists traveling from Jumeirah Street to Infinity Bridge via Al Mina Street. Phase 4 also includes the construction of five additional bridges totaling 3.1 kilometres, with a combined capacity of 19,400 vehicles per hour. These infrastructure upgrades include enhancements to key surface intersections on Jumeirah Street, Al Mina Street, and Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Street. Two pedestrian bridges are also planned on Sheikh Rashid Road and Al Mina Street.
Looking ahead, another major milestone is expected in the second quarter of 2025 with the completion of a 780-metre, three-lane bridge connecting Infinity Bridge to Al Wasl Street via Al Mina Street. This bridge will support up to 4,800 vehicles per hour and further improve traffic flow in the area.
The Al Shindagha Corridor Improvement Project is a strategic urban mobility initiative aimed at supporting Dubai’s growing population and urban development.
