This corridor includes 12.9 kilometres of new roads and 13.5 kilometres of bridges, spanning five major intersections. It is designed to support 600,000 residents and manage up to 64,400 vehicles per hour. Additionally, the Al Sufouh to Dubai Hills Active Mobility Link will promote sustainable transportation, offering a 13.5-kilometre route for cyclists and e-scooter users. It is expected to benefit around 640,000 people.
Complementing these infrastructure upgrades are smart mobility solutions already in effect. The dynamic Salik toll gate system has reduced traffic on Sheikh Zayed Road by 9%, while a new parking tariff system has contributed to a 2% drop in congestion.
